Immediate assistance for sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife is essential. Wild animals require specialized medical care and diets. Even a few hours can mean the difference between life and death, or ability to be returned to the wild. Do not attempt to care for a wild animal yourself.
If you find an orphaned or injured wild animal, call or text one of our trained wildlife rehabilitators listed below. Please allow them time to return your call as we are all volunteers. When leaving a message, give your name, phone number, species of animal and the city you are in. This list does not include all of our rehabbers, only the ones directing calls for the species listed here. Be assured we will get your call handled efficiently and as quickly as possible! Most of our rehabbers can respond quickly to a text message. If possible, send a picture with your text. We also need help getting the animals to us. We have many in our care, and often can’t leave to pick up an animal as they will miss feedings if we do. If you can drive or at least meet us part way, that is greatly appreciated!
